Associate Hanqiu “Ian” Liu focuses his practice on the defense of professionals, including law firms, lawyers, accountants, and real estate managers.  Mr. Liu has successfully represented clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts, from case inception through trial.  His considerable courtroom experience includes eight jury trials.  A driven and focused advocate, Mr. Liu excels at finding creative solutions to challenging issues.

Prior to joining Miller Waxler LLP, Mr. Liu was trial counsel at an international law firm handling complex litigation.  During law school, Mr. Liu served as a judicial extern for Justice Michael D. Wilson of the Supreme Court of Hawaii.
