Associate Nicholas Prukop represents professionals and businesses in complex civil litigation, with a focus on defending attorneys, accountants, and real estate managers against claims involving professional liability. Mr. Prukop has experience managing cases through all stages of litigation, including drafting dispositive motions, conducting depositions, and appearing in court. He regularly advises clients on litigation strategy, discovery coordination, and cost analysis, and is skilled in navigating mediations and settlement negotiations.

Prior to joining Miller Waxler LLP, Mr. Prukop practiced at respected California law firms, where he represented investment advisory firms, long-term health care facilities, and insurance carriers in high-stakes litigation. He also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Karla N. Smith of the Montgomery County Circuit Court in Maryland, assisting with both criminal and civil matters.

Mr. Prukop earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Virginia Tax Review and held leadership roles in the West Coast Wahoos. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
