Ms. Paton has built a distinguished career representing professionals across multiple disciplines. Her professional liability practice includes the defense of legal, real estate, and design professionals in actions and claims arising from the performance of their professional duties. She regularly handles complex matters involving breach of fiduciary duty, professional negligence, errors and omissions, breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation claims.

Prior to joining Miller Waxler, Ms. Paton practiced at prominent California law firms where she developed her expertise in professional liability and complex litigation. Her business acumen is enhanced by seven years of pre-law experience in business planning and forecasting for a Fortune 500 company, providing her with valuable insight into the operational and strategic challenges facing her clients.
